Monnaie de Paris is the oldest French institution and one of the oldest companies in the world. It exercises the public service of the manufacture of Euro coins. It also strikes coins for foreign countries, within the framework of international calls for tenders, which it produces on its site in Pessac in Gironde. It also manufactures on its historic site, Quai de Conti in Paris, collectible art objects (coins, medals, jewellery, decorations, fonts, etc.) and supports contemporary artistic creation (collaborations with Philippe Starck, Karl Lagerfeld or Christian The cross).
The strategy of La Monnaie de Paris is to unify its processes by building an end-to-end Supply Chain, in order to increase productivity and centralize the management of its data.
The institution has launched a consultation to find a reliable and efficient solution that replaces Excel. It also seeks to reduce its stock shortages. It also wants to be able to analyze its history in order to project itself on new themes and have the means to compare the start of its sales. Finally, she wants to improve the performance of her teams by working by exception and by automating tasks without added value, in order to focus on what requires more expertise.
Monnaie de Paris has chosen AZAP and its Supply Chain software AZAP 4.0 in order to optimize the reliability of its forecasts, the management of its stocks as well as the planning of its production and sales.
AZAP will now guarantee the efficiency of the Supply Chain of La Monnaie de Paris while sustainably increasing its performance.
Hugo Bouyer, Supply Chain Manager of Monnaie de Paris, is delighted “to have found in AZAP an expert partner on a human scale, whose experience will guarantee optimal implementation of the project”.
“We are very pleased with this partnership with such a prestigious entity. We are delighted to support La Monnaie de Paris in the implementation of a more efficient Supply Chain,” says Fabien GRATTEPAIN, Managing Director of AZAP.
