As part of the project to overhaul its global IS towards a single ERP (SAP), the independent group Cofigeo, leader in the French market for canned ready meals, cooked vegetables and sauces, has chosen to set up the forms cloud Azap4.0 as APS (Advanced Planning System) for the entire group, following a call for tenders. “We chose Azap for its rich functionality, its ability to interface with SAP and the full integration of all the features we needed within a single platform,” said Henri Brosse, CEO in charge of finance and information systems for the Cofigeo group.
These features include advanced management of promotions integrated with sales forecasts, the ability to perform multiple and varied simulations (in capacity, lead times, etc.) and to study scenarios in the S&OP module (Sales & Operations Planning), with a calculation of the environmental impact. In addition to providing business dashboards, the modular platform will be used to establish demand forecasts, manage 100% French multi-site production planning (about ten in France) and advanced planning of promotional operations and manage the group’s S&OP process.
It should be remembered that the Cofigeo group, which brings together the brands William Saurin (since 2017), Raynal & Roquelaure, Panzani, Zapetti and Garbit, was taken over a year ago by its management (under the leadership of its CEO Mathieu Thomazeau), accompanied historical financial shareholders such as SGCP, CA NMP and GSO. This project to harmonize the operation of the S&OP process is part of its desire to carry out multi-dimensional management of performance at group level (by item, by plant, by brand, etc.) and to be able to objectify decisions by “valuing” the steps of the planning process.
