AZAP Ustream & Downstream Procurement

Schéma AZAP4.0

This module leverages AZAP’s extensive experience in optimizing procurement and inventory management for warehouses and points of sale.

Upstream, this module is primarily designed to:

  • Enhance your company’s financial performance by reducing procurement, inventory, and transportation costs while managing the environmental impact of supplier sourcing.
  • Reduce the workload of procurement teams to increase the volume of processed orders, improve the quality of procurement decisions, and enable teams to focus on high-value activities and customer service.

Downstream, the objective of this module is to optimize store replenishment and its environmental impact by taking into account:

  • Transportation constraints
  • The highly unpredictable sales patterns of certain products
  • Reception capacity
  • Costs associated with replenishment frequency

This module optimizes and plans the replenishment of your stock across your network, taking into account demand plans, stock policies, and various factors such as environmental impact.
You can also define target products for which you aim to improve commercial performance. Finally, the software supports you in enhancing service levels and the corresponding revenue.

The uniqueness of this module lies in the extensive expertise embedded within its features and integrated business rules. Additionally, it offers an innovative approach to evaluating stock policies and the capability to manage and place orders automatically.

Key Features Offered by This Module:

  • Stock Policy

This feature enables the definition and implementation of a selective stock policy aligned with your commercial strategy. It allows you to adapt your stock policy to demand fluctuations and accelerate your “cycle-to-cash.”

The module automatically calculates stock policies by integrating target service levels, product classification, and supplier lead times. This ensures that uncertainties in forecasts are addressed while managing thresholds, quantities, and replenishment frequencies. Additionally, it provides alerts for dormant stock, overstocks, and expiration dates (DLC/DLUO).

  • Storage Capacity Planning

This feature dimensions your storage and reception capacities. It projects your inventory in quantity and value using a medium-term supply plan that automatically leverages your sales history.

From unconstrained to constrained planning, the AZAP Supply Module (upstream and downstream) helps align organizations with priorities derived from demand forecasts, improving service levels and increasing sales.

  • Product Portfolio and Assortments

This feature assists in defining the assortment plan for each point of sale. It optimizes calculations for initial setups, store openings, promotional campaigns, or regular restocking.

  • Reallocation

Optimization features for sales channel flows are also available. For instance, the module can automatically reallocate network stock to avoid shortages and overstocks. In case of shortages, the software allocates available quantities based on various prioritization rules (sales channel, distribution format, clients, products, etc.).

  • Consolidation

A feature that calculates consolidated replenishments for multiple stores within the same area to optimize deliveries (multi-drop), particularly in the case of direct supplier shipments. Various distribution scenarios can be simulated to help you determine the best approach for each situation.

  • Stock Management in the Distribution Network by Service Level

This feature manages multi-site, multi-level distribution networks (central warehouses, depots, stores). It accounts for site-specific reference allocations and deployment modes. Based on delivery times and service levels, the software defines the catchment area and calculates the optimal stock levels for each point in the distribution network.
